Project Overview
The development includes a mix of cluster flats and studios to provide 1000 student bedrooms as well as ancillary facilities. The site is located immediately on Stanhope Road with the remaining main frontages along Commercial Road and Victoria Park. Buildings surrounding the site contain a mix of commercial, residential accommodation and Portsmouth and Southsea Railway Station.
Brief scope of works
Material change of use, refurbishment and 11 storey extension of an existing office building (Zurich House) to provide student accommodation. We worked closely with the design team to ensure packages could be developed and tendered well in advance of the site works to ensure the scheme could be delivered with confidence within the programme dates.
