Brief scope of works
Built on one of the largest landfills in England, this former site has provided an innovative and sustainable design centre with superb views over Mucking Flats and the Thames Estuary. Sir David Attenborough officially opened the 120acre nature park on Saturday 11 May 2013.
We provided guidance throughout the project lifecycle on regulatory health and safety compliance working with Essex Trust and London based Van Heyningen and Hawards Architects, helping them meet their brief of following an environmental approach to conserve heat and facilitate natural ventilation.
